 "On a personal note, I just want to say how moved I have been by the depth and quality of Sai Baba's commitment to Haley House over the past three years that I have been here. There are times in this work when it can feel as though most of the sources of outside support we receive are transient, subject to the ebb and flow of people's interest in "giving back", rather than to the real needs of us and our guests. Sai Baba has always put those needs at the center, and you have shown us extraordinary generosity time and time again. The Sundays when Sai Baba groups were coming to the soup kitchen were always the Sundays that I looked forward to most, because I knew that the shift would be run smoothly, thoughtfully, attentively, and with an eye toward what is sacred in preparing and sharing a meal together. Through the pandemic, when many other sources of volunteer support have fallen away, you have bolstered us every single week with hearty and delicious lentils and pasta. I cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for us, and I know that your warmth and devotion to Haley House will stay with me long after I leave here."
